Food was great and you could tell well made Enjoyed the waitstaff! Relaxed atmosphere 3 stars becauseA owner/ one of brothers was a complete turnoff. Sweatpants and t shirt didn't match couldn't even chat socially that well with me and my daughter. He Explained drama of that days staff not showing up. Look in the mirror, not professional how can people take you seriously. (When that's ALL I remember Not about food, not good) Not impressed. Felt akward. May not go back because of that uncomfortable encounter.

Friendly greeting when we got there and the waitress was great. Food was very good and reasonably priced. It also seems they do a lot of charity and were bringing out trays of food for I believe a homeless shelter so that was really nice to see!

I travel a lot for work so I like finding hidden gems that are serving up great food. This place is it! No, it's not some weird, overly fancy joint with notions of what good food is supposed to look and taste like, it's just really, really good. Especially if the owner's son is cooking. Wow! I'd drive way out of my way if I heard he was cooking. Even simple pasta dishes were amazing. So far on four visits I've tried four different things - pasta 2x, steak, pizza/flatbread - and all were great.

We have been eating at Sues for over 20 years. In the past two years it seems that the business is slipping. I'm not sure if they just don't have the drive in it like they used to but it's been very spotty while dining here. Tonights burnt pizza is just one issue, to allow it to leave the kitchen like that? The chef that made it couldn't tell it was slightly overdone? We will continue to keep trying it out hoping that it gets better, but we won't visit as often as we did. This is the second time in 3 months time that we had issues with food quality and in the past 2 years we have noticed service getting slower and not as attentive as well. I'm a lifelong Saugerties resident and hope that it's just a fluke but Sues make notice of the issues as it's being talked about in town and we hate for that to happen to a long time area business.

Monster stromboli was delicious, my wife's spaghetti and meatballs was very good with perfectly al dente pasta.

Always a wonderful place for good Italian food and a great atmosphere. I love family owned businesses. The Costello family make everyone feel like family.

Staff was pretty good about staying on top of things considering how busy they were as it was a Saturday with a band playing. The acoustics weren't great and its a small space but the Jack and Cokes were mixed strong. 👍 Great selection of higher end bourbon which is unusual.

Went on a very busy Sunday before Christmas but the staff was still friendly, courteous and attentive. Considering how busy it was our meals still came out in a timely manner. Meals were very good and prepared as expected. Hope to be back soon.

Square meal for a square deal. Food is consistently good. Service is great. It can be loud. Very popular with locals. Kind of an older crowd.

Great Italian food. Who would know it from the name or outside. Service was excellent and I had the best eggplant rollatini I have ever had. Sauce has to be homemade as it was splendid. Too full for dessert so that's up for the imagination or my next visit!

First time here. Everything from the bread to salad to the Delmonico steak was awesome. Great friendly fast service. Will be back.

Ment to leave a review couple weeks ago ... I took my niece's over to pick up a take out order couple burger meals couple calzones chicken parm idk bunch of food .. My niece's both got a lollipop an my one niece dropped hers an she got a new one 😂 the place first off beautiful an clean inside second hospitality is impeccable .. So very kind caring an just all around a pleasure to want to be around .. The food was good portion an again outstanding .. I did order hot pepper in my calzones personally I would have liked them chopped up a bit not such big pieces of them but I know this future wise to just ask for this other then .. I give this place an A ++

The food was great even though they had a big party in the back. It came out in a reasonable amount of time. The place was clean except for the men's bathroom. (Probably because of the party) The service was great also. I will return soon & give another review.

Excellent food with generous portions! I think their Caesar salad is one of the best I've ever had, the beer was terrific and my main course was outstanding! My only complaint was that I couldn't finish it all...The owner was a really nice guy who came by to chat for a while, at least I think he was the owner...🤔 He offered to buy my friends and I a round as well. Will definitely be back!

Sue's is always on point. Ever since the renovation they've been busy, and deservedly so. Finally the atmosphere matches the delicious home made food. It's always nice to see Fred and John as well and catch up! What a wonderful family!
